Barrio Barista Espresso Bar is a cozy espresso bar that has a nice selection of specialty drinks. We tried the iced Span. Latte and we heard the iced Ube Matcha Latte (with oat milk) is really good too. Drinks have a lot of flavor. The menu is focused, their regular hot and iced coffees are mostly traditional, espresso, latte etc. I tried a mocha, it was very good! They have a drink card they stamp which is refreshing - get 9 stamps and get a free drink - any kind - any time! Barrio Barista Espresso Bar!

Such an incredible locally owned cafe! We have been here twice already. The buko pandan latte and the ube latte are delicious. Probably the best ube latte I have had in Jersey City. The cheesecakes are tasty too and perfect for taking as a gift. We got the assortment of flavors that included ube, dulche de leche, vanilla, mango and blueberry. The staff is friendly and a pleasure to interact with. They provide you a card that you can stamp with upon each visit such that the 10th drink is on them. The place isn’t too big so seating is limited but still comfortable for a small group. Overall would definitely recommend checking this place out! We are quickly becoming regulars.

THIS IS HOW YOU DO AN UBE LATTE YALL. Barrio Barista has the absolute BEST ube latte across the county (and possibly beyond), hands down. The taste is rich and savory - not at all too sweet, which can definitely make a huge difference to the drink experience. I paired it with the homemade ube cheesecake, which was also very delicious. This is a spot I would recommend for a box of their bite size cheesecakes to treat friends, fam, or coworkers to. Space is small, but I’m loving the clean, native aesthetic. It’s a good spot to catch up with a friend. Loving it overall ☕️

Finally, a cafe that does real "Ube" flavor. Their ube cheesecake is so rich and creamy and has that familiar taste I've been searching for as someone who grew up with it. None of that purple food coloring only and tell you that it's ube but it's not. Also, their coffee is AMAZING ✨ the spanish latte still has that coffee flavor and not just the sweetness. Had it both as iced/hot and loved them both. We'll definitely come back and so happy to be supporting this local business. :)

Traveled from almost an hour away and it was absolutely worth it. Some of the best coffee I’ve have in a long time. I got the Spanish Latte and it was absolutely delicious, so good I was sad when I finished it. Also got the dulce de leche cheesecake cups and they were amazing. The staff was so kind and helpful. Would highly recommend and will be returning!
